Medical Marijuana Inc (OTC: MJNA) is proud to announce that The Hemp Network multi-level marketing division, (www.thehempnetwork.com) has signed up over 2,200 IHC’s, or Independent Hemp Consultants in over 1,000 cities and towns throughout the US and the world.  Many of these new IHC’s have prepared websites and marketing campaigns in preparation of the product launch in 12 days.

President Don Steinberg stated “Progress continues rapidly on completion of the back end software and testing of the system”. CEO Bruce Perlowin continued; “We expect to be shipping Nature’s Ancient Wisdom medicinal mushroom and hemp protein formulas before month’s end. Excitement is mounting as our distributors sharpen their marketing tools preparing for a software platform integrating email campaigns, a “powerline” marketing system, blog capabilities and the ability to interface with all social media making this one of the most advanced cutting edge marketing software platforms in the network marketing industry”.

On the international front, Dr Stuart Titus has traveled to South America where he is conducting clinical studies in Guatemala on The Hemp Network’s proprietary formulas. Dr Titus will be opening up The Hemp Network distribution channels throughout sectors of Central and South America.

Additionally, ticket sales for our Cannabis and Wellness industry trade show at the colossal Silverdome in Pontiac, Michigan scheduled for Halloween weekend October 29, 30 and 31st are expected to go on sale this week (See: www.harmonyharvestfest.com). The first International Holistic  Health Cannabis  Convention Halloween Harmony and Harvest Fest will be the largest event of its kind in the Midwest.

First of all we’d like to wish you all a very happy Labor Day weekend. Although the time is short for this – here’s the marketing tip for today. If you click on the “tools” tab at the top you will go to a page showing you our 3 x 5 marketing flyer for people to pre-enroll. If you click on the picture of the flyer you will go to a page where you can purchase these flyers by clicking on the “buy” button which will take you to a page where you can enter your name and phone number as the sponsor printed right on the flyers and then hand these out to everyone who may be interested.

This is especially useful if you’re going to an event, a concert or want to drop stacks of them off at the local businesses that appreciate hemp to give out to their customers or just have them available for anyone who wants to pick them up. Post them on bulletin boards, hand them out at college campuses, and spread them around. With the passion for hemp today, you’ll probably get some personally sponsored people this way.

Of course this is only good until the pre-launch begins on the 20th and then when you order these cards they will be redesigned and you’ll be able to put your replicating website, name and number or email if you want that information on them. Currently, we are translating these particular flyers into Spanish and those should be up on that page early or mid next week. However, if you have some left over in places after the pre-launch on the 20th and someone is interested, they will most likely call you since your phone number will be on the flyer – so they won’t be wasted even at that time.

From this same order page you can also order your Hemp Network business cards in regular paper or hemp paper (unfortunately hemp business cards are expensive though we did find the least expensive printer in this area) , and if you’re so inclined you can also order some of the Silverdome Expo 4 x 6 cards to do the same thing (without any personal information) just to let people know about this event in your area, and to help create a larger Grand Launch for us all.

Lastly, remember the contest which is now up on the site under the “contest” tab. Personally, we can’t wait to see which city in America is the first to get 100 International Hemp Consultants signed up in The Hemp Network. The contest prize for all 100 people will be announced later – however it will be a good one – and that goes for the second and third cities to reach this goal as well (See Update #3 in the Update section of our website).

Additionally, when doing a query in the back office I found out that we actually have distributors in over 1,100 cities in America (and1,850 distributors!). I found this statistic very unusual, since in our previous experiences in network marketing there tended to be large groups of distributors in a lot less cities this early on in a company.

I attribute this to internet marketing, which has a wider reach than the people to people marketing strategy that traditional MLM downlines used in the past. About 80 percent of these cities had only 1 distributor in them. This is really great – and I started thinking about how awesome it would be if each of those distributors (or International Hemp Consultants) could concentrate on getting 100 people in the city that they live in to join The Hemp Network.

That would create a massive presence in over 1,100 cities all across America overnight! So that’s our marketing tip for this Update. Go to your friends, neighbors, associates and family in the town you live in, with the goal of getting 100 people in your city to be part of The Hemp Network.

Which ever town does this first will win a prize (a good one, to be announced later!) for each of the first 100 people in that city. Then we’ll also have a second and third place prize as well for a total of 300 prizes to the first 100 distributors in each city.
